The hotel is a cozy retreat nestled in a secluded valley, offering breathtaking views of the mountains, including Tiger's Nest. The rooms are warm and comfortable, though the road leading up is a bit rough. The dining experience features a tasty mix of local and international cuisine, although the buffet could vary in quality. Overall, it’s a peaceful and clean place perfect for relaxation, but keep in mind that reaching the hotel might be challenging, especially at night.

Naksel was an incredible start and end to our Bhutan trip. The views from the hillside were breathtaking, and our family room was both spacious and cozy. Dining was generally satisfying, especially with generous portions, but our first evening's dinner service was frustrating due to the long wait and a mix-up with our order. Overall, the staff truly made us feel cared for, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Bhutan.

We loved our family room, which featured stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of space for the four of us. It was warm and inviting with heated bathroom tiles—a super nice touch after a long day out.

Nestled on a hillside just outside of town, the location offers incredible views of the valley and nearby mountains. It felt peaceful and secluded, but still close enough to the action.

I recently stayed at Naksel Boutique Hotel & Spa, and it was a picturesque retreat with stunning views of the Paro valley and surrounding mountains. The rooms were spacious and clean, perfect for relaxation. However, the service could use some improvement, and the dining experience was a bit hit or miss. Overall, it's a lovely hotel but has its quirks that could be addressed for a better experience.

Location

The hotel is situated on a hillside next to the forest, providing a quiet and serene atmosphere barely a short drive from Paro town.
Dining

The dining experience was inconsistent; while the food was subpar on the first day, it improved significantly the next day.
Facilities

The hotel has great facilities, including a spa, but the hot stone bath was not as relaxing as I had hoped.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for relaxation, while the dining experience stands out with an impressive variety of delicious dishes. However, finding the location can be a bit tricky without a guide, and the heating in the rooms takes a while to kick in, which could be uncomfortable for some.

The hotel offers a unique view and spacious rooms with a great focus on nature, but service was unfortunately delayed, and the food quality missed the mark. While the views of the mountains are spectacular, the overall experience was tainted by the subpar dining options and inconsistent service.
