Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a cozy retreat nestled in a secluded valley, offering breathtaking views of the mountains, including Tiger's Nest. The rooms are warm and comfortable, though the road leading up is a bit rough. The dining experience features a tasty mix of local and international cuisine, although the buffet could vary in quality. Overall, it’s a peaceful and clean place perfect for relaxation, but keep in mind that reaching the hotel might be challenging, especially at night.
Naksel was an incredible start and end to our Bhutan trip. The views from the hillside were breathtaking, and our family room was both spacious and cozy. Dining was generally satisfying, especially with generous portions, but our first evening's dinner service was frustrating due to the long wait and a mix-up with our order. Overall, the staff truly made us feel cared for, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Bhutan.
I recently stayed at Naksel Boutique Hotel & Spa, and it was a picturesque retreat with stunning views of the Paro valley and surrounding mountains. The rooms were spacious and clean, perfect for relaxation. However, the service could use some improvement, and the dining experience was a bit hit or miss. Overall, it's a lovely hotel but has its quirks that could be addressed for a better experience.
This boutique hotel offers a truly peaceful and delightful stay, nestled in the foothills with breathtaking views all around, including Mt. Jomolhari. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for relaxation, while the dining experience stands out with an impressive variety of delicious dishes. However, finding the location can be a bit tricky without a guide, and the heating in the rooms takes a while to kick in, which could be uncomfortable for some.
The hotel offers a unique view and spacious rooms with a great focus on nature, but service was unfortunately delayed, and the food quality missed the mark. While the views of the mountains are spectacular, the overall experience was tainted by the subpar dining options and inconsistent service.
